About Us

Founded in September 2003, our law firm nonetheless stands in the decades-long tradition of providing legal services to wealthy individuals.

The founding partners in the autumn of 2003 were Dr. Michaela Busch and
Prof. Dr. Carl-Heinz Heuer, both previously practicing in one of the large New York law firms. Prof. Dr. Carl-Heinz Heuer, one of the founding partners for whom our law firm is named,
left the New York LLP to establish together with Dr. Michaela Busch a small entity exclusively dedicated to advising high net worth individuals.

We acted on the suggestion of our clients who were of the opinion that a small entity would better guarantee the personal client care, confidentiality and familiarity they desired.

In January 2005, the other eponymous partner, Prof. Dr. Feddersen, joined our team (till August 2013). Dr. Nicolai von Cube was appointed as partner in the firm on January 1, 2013 and our colleague Dr. Stephan Mangold was appointed as partner on January 1, 2018.

As of 01.01.2018, we changed our previous firm name Feddersen Heuer & Partner. As both a founding partner and member of our law firm for more than 15 years, Dr. Michaela Busch is now reflected in the firm name. Thus, our claim is solidified: we remain a small team of lawyers who work closely with our clients and establish the personal contact for the proper care of large private assets for issues regarding taxation, inheritance as well as family wealth planning and structuring. Since such assets are often domiciled in different countries, we have, based on the wishes of our clients, won as another colleague at the beginning of 2017, Mrs. Michele Neeb. Mrs. Neeb is a US tax advisor (US Enrolled Agent and CPA) and oversees all cross-border tax issues between Germany and the United States of America.

Our law firm is located in an Art Deco (Jugendstil) villa in the West End of Frankfurt am Main between Messe and Alte Oper. With our choice of offices we also want to demonstrate,
mindful of our clients’ wishes, that legal consulting need not be confined to the setting of an anonymous office building.
